The City of Jacksonville’s Environmental Protection Board (JEPB) hereby gives notice that it intends to conduct a public hearing during their monthly meeting on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 5:00 pm. The meeting will take place in Room 1002 of the Ed Ball Building located at 214 N. Hogan Street, Jacksonville, Fl 32202. The purpose of the hearing is to determine if Blue Ocean Construction should be granted a variance from JEPB Rule 4: Noise Pollution Control, for construction activities associated with a project located at 515 Bartram Markets Drive, Jacksonville, Fl 32258 - RE# 168135-1164.
The public hearing is authorized by Chapter 360.111, Ordinance Code, and JEPB Rule 1. The Board will consider action to waive JEPB Rule 1.602(E) to allow for a public hearing to take place during the meeting without first having been heard by a JEPB Committee. Copies of the proposed variance may be obtained from, or reviewed at, the Office of the Environmental Protection Board, Edward Ball Building, 214 North Hogan Street, 5th Floor, Jacksonville, Florida 32202, Monday through Friday, during normal working hours of 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, excluding legal holidays recognized by the City.
